The surrounding images show the various stages of development for the project. Initial photography was taken on location in Wallasey and Crosby Beach. Once we had these photographs, it was a case of finding the best way to combine them in Photoshop. Our creative team 'cut out' the submarine and placed it onto the sunset backdrop. Various colour/lighting techniques were used to combine the images effectively. |

Once the two images had been combined we ran the 'Flood' filter which was downloaded at Flaming Pear Software. An extrememly powerful filter, the free trial download is suprisingly easy to use but can give spectacular results. Once the final image had been rendered final colour balance/lighting adjustments were made to create the final image - which can be seen below in all of it's glory. |
